What We Do

The CARDINAL program is a transformative initiative designed to empower advocates, directors, and emerging leaders working in non-profits that address interpersonal violence. We offer a unique blend of structured peer support, personalized guidance, and targeted training to promote resilience, well-being, and leadership. Our goal is to provide advocates with the resources they need to sustain themselves and their impactful work with confidence, compassion, and integrity.

  • The mission of CARDINAL (Compassionate Advocacy and Resilience Development Initiative for Action in Leadership) is to empower individuals to thrive and achieve their fullest potential through compassionate support, evidence-based practices, and collaborative partnerships. We are dedicated to fostering growth, healing, and transformation by providing personalized services that honor the unique needs and aspirations of each participant, while upholding our commitment to integrity, empathy, and excellence.

  • CARDINAL combines evidence-based strategies with a supportive network, ensuring members have a confidential space to share experiences, process challenges, and strengthen their skills. Each participant is placed into a tailored group aligned with their role and professional goals, fostering a community that uplifts and supports at every level.

  • Advocate Package
    Advocate groups focus on strengthening resilience and coping strategies for those working directly with survivors. Through biweekly peer support sessions, advocates receive guidance on stress management, self-care, and effective advocacy in the face of challenging circumstances.

    Director Package
    Directors are part of an exclusive group designed to enhance leadership in domestic violence programs. Monthly roundtables, a book club, and dedicated support sessions offer directors a space to collaborate, share best practices, and tackle industry-specific leadership challenges, fostering innovation and sustainable change within their organizations.

    Emerging Leader Package
    Emerging Leaders are hand-selected by their organizations to build future leadership skills. This track includes monthly roundtables and specialized learning experiences such as financial management, advanced conflict resolution, and leadership development. Emerging leaders receive mentorship and tools to prepare for expanded roles in advocacy and management.
